A county allegiance
To say that handball is a discipline that "counts" in Val d'Oise might be considered by some as obvious, especially given the results accomplished by our national team and the impact they may have on the different territorial levels.
But beyond these clearly essential influences, the Department of Val d'Oise has developed tactics that support the practice of this discipline on its territory ; strongly supporting the cities through various donations, such as one for the gymnasium construction, the Department Committee and valdoisiens clubs are established on a high level.
Tournament TIBY Handball is an important event for the Val d'Oise. It secures a positive image of the department by the quality of the organization, and the interest induced is beyond our expectations.
The Val d'Oise County Council wishes to thank the organizers and the partners of this event, foremost among them the French Handball Federation, the IPOD League, the Departmental Committee of CDFAS and Marie-Evelyne Christin, Vice President of the Board county in charge of Sport and Youth, and the President of CDFAS for the involvement in the success of this important event for Val d'Oise.
