A departmental commitment
It is a real pleasure to welcome a new edition of the TIBY Val d’Oise. This high-quality competition, bringing together some of the best youth national handball teams, has become a benchmark event in Europe and a genuine springboard to the international stage for every player. To open the year 2027, the TIBY Val d’Oise is moving to the Pôle Sportif des Maradas – Joël Motyl to welcome these future champions!

A few figures about handball in Val d'Oise
- With an area of around 1,246 km², Val-d’Oise now has nearly 1.28 million inhabitants.
- 34.3% of the population is under the age of 25, confirming the particularly young profile of the department.
- Handball is firmly established in the area, with 26 clubs, around 5,800 competitive licence holders and nearly 11,000 members registered by the Departmental Committee.
